Celebrating 50 Years of Service with a New Name

Overview

TORONTO, Jan. 2, 2024 – Lipman Zener Waxman, one of Toronto’s premier Commercial Litigation, Restructuring/Insolvency and Business Law firms, is excited to announce the firm will rebrand itself to Spetter Zeitz Klaiman PC (SZK) effective January 1, 2024.

The decision to rename the firm reflects the natural progression to a new generation of leadership that took place in 2019 when Jason Spetter and Sean Zeitz became managing partners. Ian Klaiman, a longtime firm member, recently joined the leadership team.

Founded in 1974 as Lipman, Zener & Waxman, the newly named Spetter Zeitz Klaiman PC represents clients in all areas of banking and financing, restructuring, bankruptcy and insolvency matters, residential and commercial real estate, insurance defense, corporate and commercial law and litigation matters. Under its new leadership, the firm has expanded its legal service capacity, increasingly acting in complex fraud, insolvency and commercial litigation matters for individual, business and institutional clients.

Spetter Zeitz Klaiman wish to thank their dedicated team and loyal clients, many of whom have supported the firm for years. They are excited to begin this next chapter in the firm’s history and look forward to celebrating with their team, clients, and the legal community.
