In Will’s client-focused law practice, he commits his transactional understanding to help tackle complex situations and achieve best results in the courtroom.

William (Will) Onyeaju practices in the areas of commercial and civil litigation, bankruptcy and insolvency litigation, debtor/creditor disputes, and enforcement of security.

His experiences encompasses domestic and cross-border corporate restructurings, including proceedings under the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act and the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act, informal restructuring proceedings, receiverships, enforcement of security, and civil litigation concerning commercial/contractual disputes.

Will is a graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School. During his time at law school, Will won the 2018 Canadian National Debate Championship and was an intern at the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in Geneva, Switzerland. Will’s education background also includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in Law and a Master of Arts degree in Political Science, both from Carleton University. Prior to joining SZK, Will practiced law at a well-established national firm.

Outside of the office, Will enjoys travelling, practicing the banjo and guitar, frequenting Toronto’s performance art scene, and supporting Chelsea Football Club.
